Elvis Ice Cream Sundae
Elvis was known for his love of peanut butter, banana, and bacon sandwiches. This sundae takes all those flavors and incorporates them into a sundae perfect for dessert on a hot, summer day!

Total Time10 minutes mins
Servings: 4 sundaes
For assembly of the sundae:
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- caramelized bananas (see recipe below)
- 6 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- whipped cream
For the caramelized bananas:
- 6 tablespoons butter salted
- 3 large bananas sliced
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
First, make the caramelized bananas. Add butter to a skillet and set heat to medium. Once the butter is melted, add brown sugar and maple syrup. Stir to combine and continue cooking until mixture is smooth (about 2 minutes).
Add bananas to sugar mixture and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
Assemble 4 ice cream dishes in a row. Add ice cream to dishes. I like about 3/4 cup of ice cream but you can add up to 1 cup of ice cream per dish. Scoop about 1/4 cup of banana mixture over each ice cream dish. If leftovers, feel free to distribute! Cover the top of sundae with whipped cream.
Place peanut butter in small microwavable dish and microwave for 20 seconds, or until melted. Using a spoon, drizzle about a tablespoon of peanut butter over whipped cream. Sprinkle a tablespoon of bacon crumbles over each sundae. Serve with a spoon and enjoy!
