¼teaspooncayenne(ground black pepper if you want less heat)
2tablespoonsolive oil
1½teaspooncumin
1½teaspoonchili powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoononion powder
For the cilantro dipping sauce:
⅔cupsour cream
¼cupolive oil
¼cupwater
3clovesgarlic
½cupcilantro leaves
½cuproughly chopped green onions
½teaspoonsalt
3tablespoonsfresh lime juice
Instructions
For the shrimp:
Toss shrimp together with olive oil and spices. Grill or saute over medium-high heat until shrimp turn pink and curl up. Remove from heat and place on serving platter with a bowl of cilantro dipping sauce. Serve immediately.
For the cilantro dipping sauce:
Add all ingredients to blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Give it a taste and adjust seasoning, if needed. Serve with cooked spicy shrimp.
