Rice Cooker Spanish Rice

Ingredients

basmati rice
uncooked

cup
canned diced tomatoes
with juice
1
cup
chicken broth
1
tablespoons
butter
(or margarine)

cup
diced onion

cloves
garlic
minced
¾
teaspoon
chili powder
½
teaspoon
ground cumin
½
teaspoon
dried oregano
½
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Rinse the rice in a strainer to remove the extra starch. Drain well.
In a medium/large rice cooker, add all ingredients and stir together to combine. Turn rice cooker on.
When rice is cooked, turn off rice cooker and fluff the rice with a fork. Cover and let rice cool down for 10 minutes.
