Apple Pie Egg Rolls – Cinnamon apples are rolled into an egg roll wrapper with a little cream cheese and air fried until crispy. They are finished with a roll in cinnamon sugar.

My air fryer has certainly surprised me. I was worried it would be another appliance striving to be the next big thing and then falling flat. But in reality, it’s be super useful for making foods crispy without all the pain of frying in oil. I’ve made chicken wings, baked potatoes, French fries, and now I have a sweet treat to add to the list – Apple Pie Egg Rolls!

These apple pie egg rolls are made with refrigerated egg roll wrappers that you can find at any grocery store. My store had them in the produce section near the tofu. Each wrapper is filled with a little cream cheese and diced cinnamon sugar apples and rolled into an egg roll.

Butter cooking spray is sprayed on each one before they get fried to perfection in the air fryer. They get finished off with a little roll in more cinnamon sugar. I love to dip mine in caramel sauce for a little extra decadence.

Here are my Apple Pie Egg Rolls!

Tips & Tricks

  1. Dice the apples into small pieces. If the apple pieces are too large, it will make the egg rolls hard to roll and the egg rolls also will not cook evenly.
  2. Watch an egg roll tutorial. I needed a little help rolling my egg rolls so I watched a couple YouTube videos to get the hang of it. Here is a good one I recommend.
  3. Flip the egg rolls. During the air frying process, the egg rolls must be flipped to ensure even browning and prevent burning.
  4. Air frying only. This recipe has only been tested in the air fryer. If you are going to fry in oil, do so at your own risk.

Apple Pie Egg Rolls

Prep Time30 minutes mins
Cook Time20 minutes mins
Total Time50 minutes mins
Servings: 8 egg rolls

Ingredients

  • 3 cups peeled and diced granny smith apples
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 3½ teaspoons ground cinnamon divided
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 8 refrigerated egg roll wrappers
  • 1 8-ounce tub cream cheese
  • butter cooking spray
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup caramel sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. Add diced apples, brown sugar, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, cornstarch, and salt to a medium bowl and mix together. Set aside.
  • Grab one wonton wrapper and place on a clean counter in front of you, with a corner pointing towards you. Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese thinly over the egg roll wrapper, leaving the edges clean. Scoop ⅓ cup of diced apple and lay in a horizontal line through the center of the egg roll wrapper.
  • Fold over the bottom corner over the center and gently, yet tightly pull over the center. Fold over the right and left corners of the wonton wrapper over the middle so they meet in the center. Brush a little water on the edges to seal them. Brush water on the top corner and roll it around the egg roll to seal it closed. Repeat with other 7 egg roll wrappers.
  • Place 4 egg rolls in the air fryer once it's preheated. Spray with butter cooking spray and then air fry for 5 minutes. Flip the egg rolls and air fry for 5 more minutes. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for 5 minutes. Repeat with 4 remaining egg rolls.
  • Add 1/4 cup of granulated sugar to shallow, wide-rimmed bowl. Add remaining cinnamon and then stir together. Once the egg rolls have cooled for 5 minutes, spray with more butter cooking spray and then roll in cinnamon sugar. Serve with caramel sauce for dipping.

Apple Pie Egg Rolls – what a brilliant concept! I’m especially interested in the cream cheese addition; that sounds like it would add a lovely richness. Air frying them for crispiness and rolling in cinnamon sugar sounds like the perfect, irresistible finish. So excited to try!

For gamers who value smooth gameplay and variety, Choox Sega is the perfect choice. It doesn’t overwhelm with complicated features but instead provides exactly what you need—quality games and a clean interface. I enjoy the fact that it works well even on mid-range devices, which many apps fail to achieve. Choox Sega has quickly become my favorite option for gaming on the go. A must-have app for anyone serious about enjoying games daily.

Not precooking the apple mixture, do the apples soften in the short cooking in the airfryer?

These Mint Chocolate Fudge Cookies have so many el These Mint Chocolate Fudge Cookies have so many elements that it was really hard to name them! They're chewy, chocolatey, minty, have a layer of buttercream, and a nice dollop of fudge on top. I decided 4 words were the max I could use when naming them so I settled on mint chocolate fudge cookies!

Mint cookies have long been a love of mine, whether it's a thin mint or mint cookie ice cream. I love the duo of chocolate and mint together, but it is EVEN better when the chocolate is in the form of a cookie!

March tends to be the unofficial month of mint because of St. Patrick's Day and the Shamrock Shake at McDonald's making its annual appearance this time of year. So I had to give you a fun, new mint cookie to celebrate these flavors!

Perfect for St. Patrick's Day parties, cookie exchanges, gifts for mint chocolate lovers, or any time you want to impress with a stunning cookie!

I present to you my Pigs in a Blanket Wreath! The I present to you my Pigs in a Blanket Wreath!

The wreath isn't hard to assemble at all! You just make the little pigs in a blanket like you normally do - using crescent dough and mini hot dogs - but just arrange them in a ring and bake. Simple as that! I added a little poppy seeds to step up the presentation a little. But if you have picky little eaters, you can leave them off!

About that dipping sauce... When serving the wreath, don't forget the dipping sauce! I love honey mustard with my hot dogs so that's what I wanted to serve with this wreath. But not just any honey mustard. No, no. This is a Dr Pepper honey mustard, guys! I make a killer Dr Pepper mustard glaze for my Thanksgiving ham so I know first-hand how well Dr Pepper pairs with the mustard flavors!

For this Roasted Tomato Mac & Cheese, I've topped For this Roasted Tomato Mac & Cheese, I've topped it with roasted tomatoes to help balance out the richness of the cheese and pasta. Because the tomatoes are roasted, they have a similar flavor you would find in a tomato soup. And we all know how incredible cheese and tomato soup go together!

The combination of creamy, rich mac and cheese with those slightly acidic, charred roasted tomatoes is PERFECTION. It's like eating grilled cheese with tomato soup, but elevated! The tomatoes cut through the richness in the best way possible.

Perfect for cozy nights, family dinners, or potlucks!

These Cornbread Cookies are my new sweet and salty These Cornbread Cookies are my new sweet and salty obsession, you guys! They start out sweet and chewy, much like any other brown sugar cookie. But they finish with a hint of salty cornbread taste. And with the drizzle of honey on top, there is no mistaking that similarity to cornbread!

These are SO versatile too! Perfect with morning coffee, amazing alongside chili or soup, delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or honestly just slathered with butter! They're like the cookie version of cornbread muffins, but better! 🌟

The sweet and salty combination is absolutely addictive. My family couldn't stop eating them, and I bet yours won't be able to either!
