Everything Focaccia – Homemade focaccia dough is topped with everything seasoning (salt, poppyseeds, sesame seeds, and onion) and baked to perfection. A recipe for scallion cream cheese is also included!

Today’s recipe is a fresh take on a classic focaccia bread. I have long-loved a yummy focaccia, like this rosemary and olive oil version or this tomato pesto version. Recently, a new version took my breath away using a simple seasoning that has become popular over the last few years – Everything Focaccia! It’s a basic focaccia dough recipe sprinkled with everything but the bagel seasoning, which includes sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dehydrated onion, and salt.

As you see from the links above, I have made two different focaccias on this blog. I wanted to try a no-knead version of the dough for this Everything Focaccia so that’s why you’ll notice some difference between this dough and previous versions. The dough is much easier to make since there is no judgement necessary when it comes to kneading the dough. You just need to fold it a couple times to help build the gluten and then let it sit overnight for 24 hours.

Oh and bonus! I included a recipe for scallion cream cheese to enjoy with the bread. It’s super simple (only 3 ingredients!) and incredibly flavorful. You may even want to use it for bagels or toast.

Without further ado, here is the Everything Focaccia!

Tips & Tricks

  1. Wet dough. This recipe is mostly a no-knead dough because it’s so sticky and wet. There is no way to knead this dough without making a huge mess. So we let the air bubble create the texture we want.
  2. Long rest time. To build the flavor and texture in the dough, we must rest the dough for 24 hours. So please give yourself enough time to make this dough before you expect to enjoy it!
  3. Freeze extra bread. This bread is best enjoyed the day you make it. If you don’t eat all the bread in that time, you should freeze the extras. You can easily reheat in the oven or microwave.

To make “Everything Focaccia,” start by preparing a basic homemade focaccia dough with flour, yeast, water, olive oil, and salt. Let the dough rise until it’s doubled in size, then spread it onto a baking sheet. Before baking, generously sprinkle a mix of everything seasoning—salt, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and onion—over the dough. Bake until golden brown and crispy on the edges. To elevate the experience, prepare scallion cream cheese as a savory spread to complement the bread. If you’re looking for the perfect accompaniment to enjoy while baking or eating, try streaming some food-centric shows or feel-good movies on Magis TV for a delightful culinary and entertainment combo!

I’m familiar with traditional focaccia recipes that involve kneading. Trying a no-knead version seems much easier and less time-consuming, especially for busy weeknights.

If you’re a fan of dessert for breakfast, you ha If you’re a fan of dessert for breakfast, you have to try this Berries & Cream Stuffed French Toast Casserole.

I’m usually more of a savory breakfast person, but I tried this recipe recently and it’s basically like having cheesecake for brunch. The best part? Unlike most French toast casseroles, you don’t have to let this one sit in the fridge overnight. You just assemble and pop it straight into the oven.

I actually made a batch of this while we were hanging out at home last Sunday. The house smelled incredible, and even though it looks fancy, it was so low-stress. My kids are obsessed with anything that involves berries and "dip," so this was a massive hit. Do your kids play with this type of craft? (Mine are obsessed—though their "crafting" usually involves trying to pick all the blackberries out before it hits the table!)

If you’re looking for the ultimate weeknight com If you’re looking for the ultimate weeknight comfort food, this is it. 🍝✨

I recently tried this Baked Chicken Spaghetti and it is a total game-changer. Most recipes I see are overloaded with cheese that just adds fat without flavor, but this one is different. It’s incredibly creamy and relies on a base of browned chicken bits, onions, and garlic to give it a really deep, savory taste.

The best part? It’s a one-pot meal (if your braising dish is big enough!), which makes cleanup so much faster. I’ve found that it’s the perfect way to use up any leftover chicken you might have in the fridge, too.

I’m curious—do your kids play with this type of craft? Mine are obsessed. (Wait, I mean... do your kids eat everything you put in front of them? Mine can be picky, but they absolutely inhaled this pasta!)

If you are looking for the perfect signature drink If you are looking for the perfect signature drink for your next holiday gathering, this is it. 🥂

I’ve tried quite a few seasonal cocktails, but this Holiday Mule is a standout because it brings in those crisp flavors of apple cider and cranberry without being overly sweet. The addition of Prosecco really levels it up from a standard mule—it adds a lightness that makes it so refreshing.

I love that it’s simple enough to make in a single copper mug but looks impressive enough for a big party. I’m curious, do you have a go-to garnish for your holiday drinks? I’m personally obsessed with the rosemary and cinnamon stick combo used here; it makes the whole house smell like Christmas! 🎄

These Homemade Bagels are SO good, you'll never wa These Homemade Bagels are SO good, you'll never want to toast them again!

Y'all, I tried making bagels years ago and they were... not great. But after tons of research and a second attempt, these came out PERFECT! Chewy inside, crispy shiny shell outside, and that authentic bagel flavor you crave. They're honestly better than the bagel shop!

Here's what makes them amazing:
✨ Overnight rise = maximum chewiness
✨ Barley malt syrup = that signature flavor
✨ Boiling water bath = shiny crust
✨ Pizza stone = perfect texture

The secret? It's all about the process! The dough rises slowly overnight, gets a quick bath in boiling baking soda water (just like pretzels!), then bakes on a pizza stone for that perfect crispy exterior. The result is bagel shop quality at home!

Pro tips:
🍞 Use bread flour for that chewy texture
🌙 Let them rise overnight (patience = perfection!)
🔥 Pizza stone is a game-changer
🥯 Don't skip the barley malt syrup!

The best part? Fresh bagels warm from the oven need ZERO toasting. The crust is already perfectly crispy and the inside is so soft and chewy. Spread on some cream cheese and you're in bagel heaven!

Who else has mall food court nostalgia?! This Foo Who else has mall food court nostalgia?!

This Food Court Bourbon Chicken is an EXACT replica of that sweet, sticky chicken you used to get at the mall! Tender chicken thighs in a glossy bourbon sauce that's perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. And the best part? It's ready in under 30 minutes and everything cooks in ONE POT!

Here's why you need this:
✨ Tastes just like the mall version (maybe better!)
✨ Ready in under 30 minutes
✨ One pot = easy cleanup
✨ Perfect over white rice

Remember walking through the mall, getting that free sample, and immediately getting in line? This is that chicken! The sauce is made with brown sugar, soy sauce, bourbon, ginger, and garlic – it becomes this incredible sticky, syrupy glaze that coats every piece of chicken perfectly.

Pro tips:
🍗 Use dark meat chicken (stays tender!)
🍳 Let it brown before stirring (builds flavor!)
🥃 The alcohol cooks out, leaving just the flavor
🌾 Serve over rice with extra sauce!

Perfect for:
🥡 Weeknight dinners
🍱 Meal prep
😋 When you're craving takeout
🏠 Nostalgic food court memories

Honestly, this is so much better than having to go to the mall (no crowds, no parking hassles!). Just pure delicious chicken in that signature sweet bourbon sauce you remember.
