The holidays ain’t over yet! We have New Year’s Eve coming in a few days so we need a great cocktail to ring in 2023. This Holiday Mule is just the drink you need. This recipe makes a large batch, perfect for any gathering.

To make this mule, you’re just throwing the ingredients in a pitcher with some fruit and giving it a stir. That’s it! There’s no reason to not make this holiday mule before the end of 2022!

Here is my Holiday Mule!

Tricks & Tips

  1. Do not make ahead. Drinks with bubbles should not be made ahead because those bubbles turn flat over time. The Prosecco and ginger beer have bubbles so this drink cannot be made ahead of time. Also, the rind in the fruit leaves an odd taste in the mules if there for more than 24 hours. So the best thing to do is to make this the day you plan to serve it.
  2. Unsweetened cranberry juice. Do not use cranberry juice cocktail in this drink. It has too much sugar. Instead, use an unsweetened cranberry juice.
  3. Ginger beer vs ginger ale. Ginger beer is less sweet and packs more of a bite than ginger ale. You shouldn’t interchange these because ginger beer

Love holiday mules! I’m not a big fan of a classic mule, I think because the ginger always comes out strong. But with a nice blend of flavors in the mix, it’s just awesome.

One rainy Saturday morning, I found myself craving One rainy Saturday morning, I found myself craving something savory, warm, and a little comforting. I rummaged through my fridge, spotted leftover ham, and remembered a quiche I’d always meant to try.

So I rolled up my sleeves, caramelized onions until golden, whisked eggs and cream, and folded in those ham cubes, and that’s how these Mini Ham & Cheese Quiches with Caramelized Onions were born.

Now, these bite-sized savory pastries are my favorite brunch hack. Flaky crust, sweet onion richness, melty cheese, and just the right amount of ham in every bite. They feel fancy but are totally doable anytime.

Early Tuesday mornings deserve something a little Early Tuesday mornings deserve something a little decadent. Enter my Bananas Foster French Toast Casserole, buttery bread soaked in custard, layered with bananas, drenched in a brown sugar + rum sauce, baked until golden, and finished with a brûlée-style sugar crust.

I first had Bananas Foster at a restaurant in New Orleans and fell in love. Years later, I wanted that same feeling of warmth, sweetness, and drama — so I turned it into a brunch-friendly casserole.

This dish is the perfect blend of comfort and indulgence, especially when brunch calls for something that feels special without the fuss.

Let’s talk about that moment when sweet meets sa Let’s talk about that moment when sweet meets savory and your pie crust surprises you.

This Cheddar-Crusted Apple Pie is what happens when a classic apple pie gets a cheddar cheese upgrade.

A flaky pie crust with sharp cheddar folded in, filled with cinnamon-spiced apples, and baked until bubbly. Every forkful is a little sweet, a little salty, a lot of comfort.

I first had a version of this at a small bakery in New England, and it stuck with me. I knew I had to bring that cheddar crispiness into my own kitchen. The key is cold cheese-shredded butter in the crust and not overcooking the apples.

💬 Comment “CHEESE PIE” below and I’ll DM you the full recipe + my tip for making the cheddar crust flakiest.
Imagine a doughnut that’s part chocolate cake, p Imagine a doughnut that’s part chocolate cake, part Irish cream dream. That’s exactly what these Irish Cream Chocolate Doughnuts are.

These are baked (not fried) cake doughnuts infused with cocoa and topped with a silky Irish cream glaze, dense, rich, and made for dunking in your coffee.

When I first tested this, I was stunned by how that Irish cream glaze transformed a simple doughnut into something elegant yet comforting. The trick is letting the doughnuts cool fully before glazing, and double-dipping for that ultra-thick coating.

There’s a special joy in starting the day with s There’s a special joy in starting the day with something simple yet seasonal, like a warm English muffin slathered with whipped butter tinged with fall flavors.

These English Muffins with Whipped Fall Butters are my cozy breakfast dream: freshly toasted English muffins topped with light, whipped butter blends (think pumpkin spice butter, cinnamon pear butter, maple butter) that melt into every crevice.

I developed these spreads to bring a taste of autumn to a morning ritual that’s been with me since childhood. The contrast, crunchy muffin edges, soft middle, and whipped autumn flavors, is everything.

👉 If you were making these, would you go for pumpkin spice butter or maple cinnamon butter first?
