Cranberry Orange Overnight Oats – Rolled oats and chia seeds are soaked in milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, orange zest, and dried cranberries overnight until perfectly tender for a refreshing breakfast the next morning

Ordering room service at a hotel is one of my guilty pleasures. I don’t travel often, but when I do, I looove getting room service. There’s nothing like sleeping in and then eating breakfast in bed, wrapped in a robe. This is my idea of luxury.

On a recent trip with my husband, we ordered a gorgeous room service. He ordered a Croque Madame sandwich, but I was in the mood for something lighter. I ordered their overnight oats and some fruit. Although the presentation was lovely, it most certainly was love at first bite. The creamy oats were loaded with a flavor I’d never had before in oatmeal – orange zest. It was such a pleasant surprise.

I become obsessed with those oats ever since. As soon as I got home, I tried to recreate them. Easily enough, I figured it out on the first try! The main ingredients were easy: orange zest, rolled oats, milk, dried fruit. But I tasted a little extra sweetness that seemed to be coming from a vanilla yogurt. So I used a Greek vanilla yogurt in my version, as well.

Without further ado, I share with you my Cranberry Orange Overnight Oats!

Making the oats

Overnight oats are one of the easiest things you’ll ever make. All the ingredients are added to a bowl the night before you plan to eat them and then chilled overnight. The oats slowly absorb the liquid in the yogurt and milk and plump up.

Main ingredients in overnight oats

You must use whole, rolled oats for overnight oats. If you use quick-cooking oats, they will get mushy when sitting overnight in liquid.

A benefit of making chilled oats is that you can use yogurt in the place of milk, which adds in healthy bacteria and protein. Other ingredient in overnight oats are up to you. You can add in nuts (but only if you want them softened up a little, otherwise, add them in the morning), dried fruit, cinnamon, applesauce, smashed banana, peanut butter, you name it!

Adding fresh fruit

When making overnight oats, the only thing I don’t add to the mix ahead of time is the fresh fruit. The fruit tends to break down and get soggy if sitting in the oats overnight. Therefore, I just place my fruit on top of the oats when serving.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Rolled Oats. Do not use quick-cooking oats for overnight oats. They will get mushy. Instead, use whole or rolled oats.
  2. Keep for 24 hours Max. You can make overnight oats the night before eating them but don’t keep for more than 24 hours. They will start to get mushy if kept any longer than that.
  3. Eat Cold or Hot. Overnight oats are great eaten cold. But you can heat them up, if you prefer. Start by heating at 30 seconds and stir. Cook for 30 more seconds.

The first time I tasted chocolate raspberry mousse The first time I tasted chocolate raspberry mousse, I was at a small café on a rainy afternoon overseas. A spoonful felt like velvet, silky chocolate dancing with tart raspberry, so light it dissolved in your mouth. That memory haunted me until I made it myself.

This Chocolate Raspberry Mousse is my tribute to that moment. Rich dark chocolate, whipped light as air, with a swirl of bright raspberries cutting through the sweetness. Elegant, indulgent, yet surprisingly approachable.

It’s the kind of dessert that feels special, but doesn’t require hours or dozens of ingredients. Sometimes, the most unforgettable dishes are the simplest.

Would you dig into it plain or top it with fresh raspberries & whipped cream?

It all started on a cozy fall evening. I was cravi It all started on a cozy fall evening. I was craving pie + cheesecake, and I couldn’t decide which to make. So I thought: Why not both?

That’s how these Chocolate Pecan Pie Cheesecake Bars came to be. A buttery pecan pie layer rich with toasted pecans and deep caramel, sandwiched over creamy cheesecake, drizzled with chocolate, all baked into a bar you can slice and serve.

Every bite hits: the nutty crunch, the silky cheesecake center, the chocolate swirl that ties it all together. It’s indulgence without the fuss of flipping pies or cutting perfect slices.

One rainy Saturday morning, I found myself craving One rainy Saturday morning, I found myself craving something savory, warm, and a little comforting. I rummaged through my fridge, spotted leftover ham, and remembered a quiche I’d always meant to try.

So I rolled up my sleeves, caramelized onions until golden, whisked eggs and cream, and folded in those ham cubes, and that’s how these Mini Ham & Cheese Quiches with Caramelized Onions were born.

Now, these bite-sized savory pastries are my favorite brunch hack. Flaky crust, sweet onion richness, melty cheese, and just the right amount of ham in every bite. They feel fancy but are totally doable anytime.

Early Tuesday mornings deserve something a little Early Tuesday mornings deserve something a little decadent. Enter my Bananas Foster French Toast Casserole, buttery bread soaked in custard, layered with bananas, drenched in a brown sugar + rum sauce, baked until golden, and finished with a brûlée-style sugar crust.

I first had Bananas Foster at a restaurant in New Orleans and fell in love. Years later, I wanted that same feeling of warmth, sweetness, and drama — so I turned it into a brunch-friendly casserole.

This dish is the perfect blend of comfort and indulgence, especially when brunch calls for something that feels special without the fuss.

Let’s talk about that moment when sweet meets sa Let’s talk about that moment when sweet meets savory and your pie crust surprises you.

This Cheddar-Crusted Apple Pie is what happens when a classic apple pie gets a cheddar cheese upgrade.

A flaky pie crust with sharp cheddar folded in, filled with cinnamon-spiced apples, and baked until bubbly. Every forkful is a little sweet, a little salty, a lot of comfort.

I first had a version of this at a small bakery in New England, and it stuck with me. I knew I had to bring that cheddar crispiness into my own kitchen. The key is cold cheese-shredded butter in the crust and not overcooking the apples.

💬 Comment “CHEESE PIE” below and I’ll DM you the full recipe + my tip for making the cheddar crust flakiest.
